What solar actually changes
A smaller electricity bill
Solar offsets the units you would otherwise buy. How much you save depends on your tariff slab and how much of your generation you use during daylight.Protection from tariff rises
Your generation cost is fixed the day you commission the system. Grid tariffs, set by TGERC in Telangana and APERC in Andhra Pradesh, are revised periodically and only move one way.A long-lived asset
Solar panels are hardware with no moving parts. Output declines slowly and predictably rather than failing suddenly.Backup, if you need it
Adding storage keeps your essential loads running through an outage. That is the reason most off-grid and hybrid systems get built.

Six systems, and the one that fits your property
The right system depends on your connection, your load and what you are trying to fix. Start here.
Solar On-grid
Best for: Homes and businesses with a reliable grid connection
Grid-tied rooftop systems that offset your consumption and export the surplus through net metering. The lowest-cost route to a smaller bill.
Solar Off-grid
Best for: Properties with unreliable supply or no connection
Battery-backed systems that run independently of the grid, sized around the load you need to keep running during an outage.
Solar Hybrid
Best for: Buyers who want net-metering savings and outage protection
Grid-tied systems with a hybrid inverter and battery backup — net metering savings day to day, and essential loads keep running when the grid fails.
Solar water heating
Best for: Households replacing an electric geyser
Thermal systems that heat water directly from sunlight, removing one of the largest single loads in most homes.
Solar water pumping
Best for: Farms running borewell or surface pumps
Pump systems driven directly by solar, sized to your head and discharge requirement rather than to a catalogue.
Solar lighting
Best for: Streets, campuses, panchayats and commercial premises
Standalone street and area lighting with integrated panel, battery and controller. No trenching, no metered supply.
Every system, built to survive 25 years
Stainless bolts, a 150 km/h wind rating, dedicated lightning earthing, sealed roof penetrations — the hardware most local installers cut corners on.

PM Surya Ghar subsidy: what to know before you choose an installer

What does Origian Power actually do?
Origian Power is a solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction company: we handle the engineering, procurement and construction of solar systems end to end. That covers on-grid and off-grid power plants, solar water heating, solar water pumping and solar lighting, with design, supply, installation, approvals and commissioning under one contract.
Which areas does Origian Power serve?
Origian Power works across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with offices in Hyderabad and Anantapur, and installations completed in and around Anantapur and Kalyandurg. Call us with your location and we will confirm whether it is within our current service area.
What is Engineering, Procurement and Construction for solar?
Engineering, Procurement and Construction describes a contractor who is responsible for the whole system rather than just supplying panels: sizing and designing it for your site, sourcing the equipment, installing it, and handling the DISCOM approvals needed to commission it.
Do I need a battery with my solar system?
Only if you need power during an outage. An on-grid system uses the grid itself to absorb your surplus and supply you at night, which makes it cheaper and simpler. A battery is what you add when the grid is unreliable or absent, and it is the single largest cost in an off-grid system.
