Privacy policy

Origian Power (“we”, “us”) operates this website to help visitors in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh evaluate and enquire about solar installations. This page describes what we collect through the site, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. It does not cover information you give us directly over a phone call or during a site survey.

What we collect

This site collects personal information in two places, both of them forms you fill in deliberately — never automatically, and never without your knowing you’ve submitted something.

The enquiry form (used when you request a free site survey, from the contact page or elsewhere) asks for:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• The location of the property (town, village or locality)
• Whether the property is residential, commercial or agricultural
• Optionally: which system you’re interested in, your approximate monthly electricity bill, and any message you choose to add
• Whether you consent to being contacted about offers and updates beyond this specific enquiry (a separate, optional checkbox — we contact you about the enquiry itself either way)

The “Book a free site visit” form that appears under a calculator’s result (savings, EMI, subsidy, and the others under /calculators/) asks only for your name, phone number, and pincode — a shorter version of the same enquiry, so we can call you and pin down an exact figure with a site visit.

Outside of submitting one of those two forms, the calculators themselves run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into a calculator’s sliders and fields — your roof area, your bill amount, and so on — are never sent anywhere; they exist only on your device, for as long as the page is open, unless you go on to submit the form underneath.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on every page to understand how visitors use it. Google Analytics records which pages you view, how long you spend on them, and general device and location information (city-level, not your exact address). Microsoft Clarity records on-page interaction — mouse movement, clicks and scrolling — to help us see which parts of a page get used and which get missed. Both run automatically on every page.

Neither tool is linked to the enquiry or site-visit forms described above — nothing you type into either form is sent to Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity as identifiable form data.

What happens to an enquiry

When you submit the enquiry form, your details are sent once to Origian Power’s internal lead-handling system so our team can call you back. This website does not keep its own copy or database of submissions — once forwarded, the form has nothing further to do with it. If that internal system is ever unreachable, the form refuses the submission and tells you so rather than silently discarding it, and shows you our phone number to call instead.

Enquiries are stored by Origian Power’s marketing operator for follow-up and deleted after 18 months.

We do not sell, rent, or share your enquiry details with any third party. They are used solely by Origian Power to respond to that enquiry and, if you go ahead, to deliver and support your installation.

Third parties

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are subject to their own respective privacy policies (Google’s and Microsoft’s), not ours — we don’t control what either collects beyond what’s described above. Our pages show embedded Google Maps of our offices (in the footer, and on the Anantapur and Hyderabad pages). A map loads from Google when you scroll to it, so Google may set cookies and receive your IP address under Google’s own privacy policy. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, and Google Reviews take you to those platforms directly; nothing is shared with them by us before you click.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you go ahead, to deliver and support your installation. You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you at any time — see below.

Your choices

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we handle it changes, we’ll update this page and the date above. We won’t make a material change without updating this page first.
